Zoo Life Simulator – Unreal Engine Optimization & Technical Art

Zoo Life Simulator is a simulation game where players design, build, and manage their own zoo. The game focuses on animal care, habitat creation, and visitor management, allowing players to develop and expand a fully functional zoo environment.

In this project, I contributed as a Junior Unreal Engine Developer / Technical Artist, primarily working on performance improvements, asset optimization, and visual presentation within Unreal Engine.

My work focused on improving scene efficiency while maintaining visual quality.

    Optimized various environment assets and meshes to reduce unnecessary polygon density and improve overall scene performance.

    Improved material setups and reduced shader complexity to lower GPU cost while preserving visual fidelity.

    Contributed to overall performance improvements by optimizing scene elements, environment assets, and general rendering efficiency.
