Zoo Life Simulator
Zoo Life Simulator – Unreal Engine Optimization & Technical Art
Zoo Life Simulator is a simulation game where players design, build, and manage their own zoo. The game focuses on animal care, habitat creation, and visitor management, allowing players to develop and expand a fully functional zoo environment.
In this project, I contributed as a Junior Unreal Engine Developer / Technical Artist, primarily working on performance improvements, asset optimization, and visual presentation within Unreal Engine.
My work focused on improving scene efficiency while maintaining visual quality.
Key Contributions
-
Asset Optimization
Optimized various environment assets and meshes to reduce unnecessary polygon density and improve overall scene performance. -
Material and Shader Optimization
Improved material setups and reduced shader complexity to lower GPU cost while preserving visual fidelity. -
Unreal Engine Performance Optimization
Contributed to overall performance improvements by optimizing scene elements, environment assets, and general rendering efficiency. -
Environment and Scene Improvements
Assisted in refining environment composition and improving visual consistency across multiple areas of the game. -
Cinematic Capture and Presentation
Created in-engine cinematic captures and visual presentations using Unreal Engine’s cinematic tools.
